Why a magnesium complex with D3 & Zinc?

Magnesium Oxcide: Relief of constipation, indigestion, & migraines.

Magnesium Citrate: An amazing electrolyte that helps regulate muscular function.

Magnesium Glycinate: Relieves anxiety & promotes bone and blood health.

Magnesium Malate: Due to the addition of malic acid magnesium is more easily absorbed thereby increasing the effects of the supplement.

D3: Helps with bone health by increasing the ability to absorb calcium and phosphate.

Zinc: Helps immune system and metabolic function.

All this in one nice little tablet! I like Nature Made products because I can easily find them in most grocery stores and, usually, do not have to special order any of their products.  I personally take it at night for better absorption.

I personally take my immuno point in the evening so my body absorbs more of it when I sleep.  I'm not sure if this is the correct way to take it, but as I find it easier to take it right before bed.

Activated charcoal is my best friend.  I have a bottle of activated charcoal in my purse, in my car, in my nightstand, and in my bathroom.  Why do I love it so much?  Because having celiac disease and Hashimoto's disease I am very sensitive to food cross contamination, I also am susceptible to food poisoning.  I don't know if the food poising is related to autoimmune disease or if there is another reason, but my stomach is very sensitive.  I can tell in a matter of minutes if I've ingested something that is going to come back exploding out of either end of me.  That is why activated charcoal is my best friend: it sucks up everything in the gut.  Toxins, gasses, all the yucky stuff gets absorbed by the activated charcoal and expelled through waste, aka poop, instead of being absorbed into the bloodstream.  I love, love, love activated charcoal anytime I'm feeling icky, once it reaches my gut I immediately start feeling better.  Though, as addressed in my disclaimer at the top of the page, please talk to your doctor before taking.  I see a lot of doctors because of my autoimmune diseases and they have told me not to take it anywhere between 1-4 hours before or after taking an important medication because it might absorb the medication.  I lean on the side of caution and stick with four hours.

I personally take all of these supplements on a daily bases (except the activated charcoal, which I use only when necessary).  I don't like taking supplements and all and often I have found myself feeling sick of taking them, however by just taking a few key ones jam packed with nutritional goodness that my body can easily absorb, I am healthier and not having to take hand fulls of supplements.
